Orbital Welding

In orbital welding, the welding head is mechanically guided around the weld body in a holder (the head) and the seam is welded together in a single pass without interruption.

The arc and the seam are protected from the outside air by means of shielding gas. This ensures that the seam can be precisely controlled and the annealing colors and the root of the weld seam can be easily influenced. This ensures a consistently high seam quality.

Further advantages include the high safety of the process, the high reproducibility of the welding results, the short and very economical production time and the ability to document the welding process in accordance with ISO 9000.
